Hornets and Lakers are so similar IMO in there style. Work the ball around for the open shot. Both have inside scorers in GAsol and West. Each team has great shooters with New Orleans having the better shooters IMO. But the Lakers have the best player in the league right now and none if it matters if he plays possessed.
you basically said it.
the Lakers have Kobe Bryant who has been flat out amazing this postseason
the Hornets cant match up against him. Neither could Utah, and you saw what happened
MoPete will be guarding Kobe. Kobe once dropped 81 on MoPete

but none of this matters because the Lakers will be playing the Spurs in the WCF

I'm glad Pierce showed up today, all the ESPN people have been saying Pierce needs to step up and drop 40 in one of these games, and he did.

LeBron had a great game. From the opening tip he had it made up in his mind he was going to dominate.

But w/o an effective supporting cast, he's not going to get anywhere. If the Cavs dont get him some REAL help this off-season, I can see him bolting for another team after next year.

But Pierce was amazing too, I personally think he's a little overrated, but thats the best game Ive seen him play since the last time the Celtics made a playoff run.

Ultimately if the Celtics dont win on the road, no way they beat the Pistons.

I really hope so, Ive heard D'Antoni will try to "woo" him and Wade during this summer's olympics, to come and play in his offense. LeBron to NY would save us.

If they dont get him a REAL 2nd option (someone not named Ilgauskas) or at least a point guard. He's gone. I like West, but he would be the perfect back-up IMO.

Knicks or Nets
Jay-Z and LeBron are buddy buddy so i could definietly see him there.
By that time the Knicks could be much improved and with D'Antoni there, you never know

Dez that's a pipe dream. Wade won't leave Miami unless we continue being this bad, which we won't. And if he does, he certainly wouldn't go to the Knicks. As for LeBron, if he does go to NY it will be to the future Brooklyn Nets..

You 100% sold on that?

You never know what can happen, you guys are getting a new coach now that Riley's gone theres no telling who you'll hire. And if you guys dont make any significant changes, im sure Wade will leave.

As for LeBron, the same thing goes.

And Im sure leading one of the NBA's most storied franchises back to the top will look pretty damn good on a HOF resume....

We already hired our man. Eric Spolstra, he's around 38, youngest Head Coach in the NBA.

Like I said, Wade will leave if we continue to be like we are, and Riley knows that so there is no way we continue on like this. As for LeBron, IMO he does leave, Cleveland and the players there are horrible.

And where will you pull the money out from? Your going to be in salary cap hell for a while and even with a sign-and-trade the Cavs wouldn't want any bad contracts.

I didnt even catch the hiring of Spolstra.

But off course in order to get em we'd have to dump Curry, Randolph, or Jeffries. (which Im sure will happen) As long as we're able to do that, we'll be able to bid for em.

Playing in NY in D'Antoni's system is enticing for any NBA player, D'Antoni is a players coach and is said to treat his players like grown men, thats why he runs the type of offense he runs, its open and everyone has a chance to score.
