a weak argument? Look at the roster he had last year. SASHA PAVLOVIC WAS IN THE STARTING LINEUP!

This years team doesn't need Lebron to do it all 100%

Joe Smith, Wally, Delonte with energy guys like Varajeo and Wallace.

I FEEL IT
Yet they had a loseing record with them players?

It takes time to gel :)

It's shown signs in the playoffs and it's taking off.

I think thats a good argument, but then you can comeback with all the other teams have better players then last year to.

It is a weak argument because don't the Celtics have a MUCH MUCH better lineup than last year? So you can say the same for them as you do the Cavs thus negating that argument.

Also, fun fact about the Cavs 'much better' lineup.....Wally AND Delonte both started for the C's last year

All that means nothing when you have a player like Lebron. He has proven he has took a team with lesser talent into the NBA Finals.

Now he has a more talented bunch around him. Why not believe?

It's not like Garnett, Allen, Pierce have ever made it to the Finals carrying a team.

The Cavs ain't going to win the series so it won't even matter.

I wouldn't be surprised if Boston ended it tomorrow.

Yea, Boston will win. LeBron is special and very good, but he's been stinking this series.

Plus I would understand why Pistons fans are wanting the Celtics to finish off the Cavs.... because the Cavs are much more scarier. I mean after what Lebron did last year with little talent around him...scared it might happen again when he has more talent.

I'm not trying to start anything but if I was a Piston fan I would rather face the Celtics then the Cavs

I HIGHLY doubt they won't win 1 road game for the whole playoffs.

To be 100% honest, I just want Boston to end it cause I want the ECF to start soon, I hate waiting.

I really don't who care we play, both teams will be tough but I think we are fine playing either.

Yeah but after what Lebron did to the Pistons last year.....those things don't just wear off just like that. People tell you they have and they've forgotten about it but we all know what did happen last year in that series.

Like I said I really don't care at all who we play. If Cleveland were up 3-2 I'd be rooting for them to finish it off as well.

Delonte replaced Larry Hughes...that's an upgrade?

Also, Pierce never carried a team to the NBA Finals but they did make it to the Conference Finals...were you around at all during the 2001-2002 playoffs? Did Pierce not carry that team to wins over the 76ers and Pistons? Who was his help? Antoine Walker and a bunch of role players?...similar to what LeBron did, just LeBron went to the Finals.

You don't get it..... They upgraded in that trade overall as a team. They got more scorers and are an AMAZING team.

And plus that was when Pierce was a top player in the league, Pierce is lucky to score 20 a game now. He can't carry a team anymore.

They got:
- Ben Wallace
- Joe Smith
- Wally World
- Delonte West

Lost:
- Drew Gooden
- Larry Hughes

I'd take Gooden over both Wallace and Smith, and I'd take Hughes over Wally and West.

They got better yeah, but are they are nothing to ride home about.

we aren't comparing if Pierce can carry a team now in this moment...you said Pierce never made it to the finals carrying a team (with no mention of a specific time period) so I said he made it to the ECF in 2001-2002 with a scrub team much like LeBron's Cavs last year, maybe worse.

And if you don't believe me take a look at this:
Rodney Rogers
Kenny Anderson
Tony Delk
Tony Battie
Eric Williams
Joe Johnson
Vitaly Potapenko
Walter McCarty
Milt Palacio
Kedrick Brown
Mark Blount
Joseph Forte
Randy Brown

go ahead and tell me having Big Z, Hughes, Gibson, and Gooden on your team is not better than that.
