The only part I don't like about Detroit fans is how they always say like they play with so much passion, doesn't everyone? And like noone respects there teams but we do, we just don't give them respect they don't deserve but some Detroit fans think they deserve a ton of respec.

... Despite the incredibly good fit between Detroit's different pieces, one wonders if this nucleus could use a shake-up to rattle some of the complacency and arrogance out of them. Obviously this is an area where Dumars should tread carefully, but if early-season defeats are greeted with the same whining and excuses he might be encouraged to act ...

... In the big picture, I like what the Pistons have done and where they're at, and they have a decent shot at extending their streak of 50-win seasons to seven. The only problem is that their competition in the Central Division is starting to leave them behind. This isn't the 50-wins-books-an-automatic-conference-finals-trip East of old, and unless Detroit's youngsters can pick up the slack extremely quickly the Pistons' five-year streak of playing into June is likely to come to an end ...

here's my opinion....why do you care what Sheed thinks? Of course he is gonna say that his team is the team to beat. If you were in that situation you'd probably do the same. Some teams/players prefer to take the more modest approach and wait till the season starts to say anything but hey, when the hell has Sheed ever been that way?
