The Yankees' deal with Ellsbury is done, pending a physical. I'm told the contract is bigger than Crawford's 7 year/$142M deal

He's a Boras guy. This should surprise no one. He wanted to make bank and the Sox weren't gonna pay.

Whenever you see a big deal, it's surprising when Boras isn't involved, but since I forgot he is a Boras guy, it did surprise me. Didn't see him landing on the Yankees, at all, not for 7 years either. He's a great addition for them, but that's a lot of commitment to a player that has his injury history.
