Minnesota should move Pek right? Just go all in and get another high lottery pick to put next to Wiggins, Bennett, etc.

Btw this trade currently as constructed is illegal. Cleveland has to little going out and to much going in.
Still have those non-guaranteed contracts from the Wolves. I assume that hits the threshold.

Chris Grant keeps catching L's, tough break

If his contract wasn't awful I'd welcome him in Boston, because we could use him. But I don't want that money on our cap

I maintained I never wanted to move Wiggins, and I'm a little sad I won't get to see him on the Cavs, but it appears because we did include him we didn't have to take any bad contracts, and we only had to trade one draft pick, which still gives us a little flexibility and gives us the ability to add more to the team. Wish him the best, playing with Rubio will help his career.

Also, the best part is the Cavs now having two players long term that the Lakers thought were slam dunks to join them.

It thrills me that every plan the Lakers had in place to get back on top is falling out from under them. We don't need LAL to be a team in contention again for a long long time. This is great for basketball.

Dan Gilbert has said stupid stuff and in some cases is a hypocrite, but I don't see it ringing true here. If the Lakers were trading someone of Wiggins caliber for CP3 and not Lamar Odon, that deal doesn't get vetoed, and the Cavs only signed one of their "big 3" through free agency, and it's a guy they drafted in the first place.

The Cavs are the only team in recent memory to actually give up an extremely valuable piece of a star

They collected assets for 4 years, and have finally started using them.

With how good the West is, I'm much more confident in the Memphis pick becoming a lottery pick this year or in the future compared to the Heat pick, so this is good news.
