The Wizards have officially signed Al Harrington to a contract, the team announced today (Twitter link). ESPN.com's Marc Stein was the first to report earlier this week that the two sides were nearing an agreement, not long after Harrington was released by Orlando.

Good signing... They need a outside PF to spread the floor at times... Such a bargain signing... Though the Wizards have all kinds of good players they need Wall to come through and play a full season.

If Wall comes back and plays like he did last season I think this could be a good team. Possibly a playoff team with the weak Eastern Conference. Wall gets a bad rap, that dude is a baller, just never played with other talented players.

But now, Beal is going to be a real good player in this league. A real good two way player in the league, which is what really counts. So many people aren't objective to what really counts in this game. There are so many guys in this league that may put up 20 points and "oh he's a star!" but there has to be more to the game than just scoring and all the ooh's and ahh's from the crowd. Maybe Beal will never have a 25-26 ppg season like Monta Ellis did but atleast you can count on him to get you 18 and play solid defense.

Then Otto Porter will be that glue guy, efficient offense and excellent defense. Nene, Okafor, Glen Rice, and another guy I really like in Martell Webster.

^^^ All agreed. Ill be honest Wall is a top 10 PG when healthy. Dude has the talent this year and the bench looks pretty deep now with Harrington.
