The Timberwolves wouldn't.
its better than anything the Cavs would do, and it's better than almost everyone else as well

i literally have not brought up the Cavs, because I'm not delusional. The Timberwolves would be rebuilding if they traded Love. Your trade does not give them any valuable young assets

I love how a mediocre beginning to a season with several new pieces means they have to just give up, already. Give. It. A. Season.

On anyone. Deng, Bledsoe, Melo, etc.. They're gonna sign someone to big dollars just because of how bad they've been this year. Kobe won't stand for 2 straight lottos.

Love is going to sign an extension with whatever team trades for him anyway.

To be fair Kobe probably thinks this current roster can contend for a title with him healthy.

There's honestly no point. It just makes their development process longer, probably forces Adelman to retire/resign. Then their left without a star, and without a great coach.

What is Flip going to say?

"Yea, he says he is opting out"

That literally kills all trade value for love

Even if it's true he can't say that

...I can use ellipses, too, and you hadn't posted in threads I'd seen. Was just asking, dude.

I say they should trade Love. This season is proof for him that Rubio isn't the running partner he needs for the forseeable future. He is going to want to opt out because its already available in his contract. The Timberwolves need to get the most value for him right now and not wait around and make it a debacle where they get less in return later on.
