Chandler Jones has been looking so strong and elusive off the line, he gave Bushrod so many problems vs NO. Granted it was the only game I've seen but I've heard he's looked fantastic.

Nope... Bears run a 4-3, he's a DE.

He was projected as a 3-4 OLB, which is totally different than a 4-3 LB.

I feel like so many people dont understand the differences in the positions in the front 7.

MIKE: Middle Inside LB. Play MLB in the 43, ILB in the 34. Needs to be able to stop the run and can pass cover. Ex: Patrick Willis

WILL: Weak Inside LB. Plays OLB in the 43, ILB in the 34. Needs to be able to cover well, and give some pass rushing ability (but not necessarily a whole lot). Ex: Jerod Mayo

SAM: Strongside LB. plays OLB in the 34 and 43. Needs to be strong and able to pass rush well. Ex: Demarcus Ware.

JACK: a Jack is one who plays 43 DE, 34 OLB. Pass rushing specialist. Ex: Mario Williams


I hate seeing comparisons where people compare WILLs and JACKs; they are not even close to being the same position
