I'm probably taking Alex Smith. He's arguably the best QB out of the four listed, being paid the least, and he's the second youngest. I think that he is the best game manager out of these QBs and easier to throw into a system and have him be successful.

Flacco, just make it to the playoffs and he magically becomes a stud, he's probably the easiest to win a SB with, other than Eli but Eli is older and costs more

I think I would take Alex Smith, Flacco is very tempting though

I'd take Smith as well because he's in the best position to win a super bowl I feel like, plus he's the cheapest

Other than the two guys that have actually won super bowls you'd take the guy that's won two playoff games?

Yeah because the 2 that won it don't have the team around them to win it all at this moment. The Chiefs have the best team of the 4 right now so they're in the best position to win. Then followed by New York, Baltimore, and then Chicago

I don't think the surrounding teams come with the quarterback

Eli and Cutler are too turnover prone for me. Cutler hasn't done shit in his career to suggest he can lead a team to the playoffs alone. Alex Smith is a very smart QB and rarely makes a mistake that puts the game in jeopardy, so for that reason I'd take him

Am I the only one here who has watched Joe Flacco play playoff games?

Alex Smith. I like his throwing skill and he has a decent ability to move around and make throws on the run.

Flacco is overrated. He got luck and won the Super Bowl once, but that doesn't mean he's a 20M/year QB.

Flacco's defense was pretty good the year they won the super bowl too. Plus he still had actual receivers to throw to. Smith doesn't have anyone to throw to other than Maclin haha

Flacco threw 11 TDs and 0 picks in those playoffs, then last year in NE he absolutely balled out and they would have won that game if they weren't on their 7th and 8th corners

2/4 of the games in the 2012 playoffs were against chump defenses. And also, need I repeat he had CRAZY weapons. Prime Pitta (Mang people forget that he was a top flight TE before being injured), Anquan Boldin, prime Torrey Smith, and prime Ray Rice... Hard to not be good when those are your main offensive weapons.

And the other 2 games? He played top 5 defenses and put up a combined 6 TDs, 0 Picks, about 620 yards and a rating of about 120, but yea lets ignore that because two of the other defense weren't as good

And last year in the playoffs? What then? Smith makes the safe plays but he's never gonna be the reason you win a SB, Flacco gets into the playoffs and turns into a top five QB. There's probably 10-15 QB's I'd take over Smith in a playoff game, for Flacco there's maybe 5.
