This might sound weird but Spurs are underrated this season. Only 3 games back against a team that started 24-1, won 23 straight at home and has the most wins by at least 20 points
On the contrary, that's pretty normal. The last few years they have been thought of very highly, but their mantra every year to being underrated in the regular season and taking care of business in the playoffs and making everyone go "How did we miss this all year? They're clearly the best TEAM in basketball."

So it's a disappointment if the Warriors lose to a better team? Makes sense..

You fail second grade math or something?

Remember this ">" is the 'Greater Than' symbol, and this "<" is the 'Less Than' symbol.

Lmao u know that sometimes u can use > for whatever you like more??? Doesnt have to be according to your calculations. Bulls > cavs bulls > clippers, only saying spurs > warriors cuz i hate the warriors. Clearly a team that just won a chanpionship and is 25-1 is better. Stop trying to be a smartass little guy just bc you looked like a dumbass last night. Its alright, move on. Stop reaching

So you did fail second grade math? This just sounds like you're hedging your bets

Bumping this. Warriors are 48-4 at the break, and need a 25-5 finish after the break to break the NBA’s all-time single-season record of 72 wins.

Who cares. You dont start the season saying lets get 73 wins. You start the season saying lets hold that trophy at the end of the year. They need to forgey about the record and get their bodies and minds ready for the playoffs

Warriors will finish their season with the best record.

But #Lillard51 will happen in postseason.

Go for both. 74-8 followed by 16-4 in the playoffs, first 90 win team ever

1) LeBron's never had the chance to go for 73, the last time he took the regular season seriously his team won 27 straight.
2) Isn't it even more impressive to get 73 now when teams are more conscious of resting/preserving players?
3) 15-1 is extremely impressive, so is 73. Longer dominance required for 73, tougher opponents in the 15-1
4) 74-8 followed by a strong postseason (5 losses or fewer) and they're the greatest team of all time, why wouldn't you go for that if you're in a position to do so?

All of that is cool, but wont change my mind. Records, stats are cool, but its all about winning. The ultimate goal each and every team and player set to do. Records that come with along the ride are cool, but they cant focus on the record too much and lose track of whats really important

How is it gonna look if they go 73-9 but lose in the playoffs??

People will always remember them as the team who tried to break the bulls record and did, but choked in the playoffs. And thats a complete choke

73-9 and losing in the playoffs > 71-11 losing in the playoffs

And don't forget that the Spurs are on pace for the second (well third after the Warriors and Bulls) greatest record of all time at 69-13 with one of the greatest net ratings ever. I guess one of them is gonna choke?
