I'm not sure what team it will be, but I don't see it being the Brewers he signs with.

He'll finish this season out with the Brewers, and them being in first is nice, but he is straight up raking lately, which opens other teams eyes even more.

I think wherever he goes, it'll be an NL team.

Watch out for Baltimore. They've been willing to spend these last few off-seasons, they offered Tex some pretty nice money when he was an FA. I think they'd pony up for Prince

A big reason they went after Tex though was not only because of his talent but he was pretty much a local guy and I assume they thought they had a better chance because of that but then it came out that he has always been a Yankee fan lol.

I'm sure they thought it helped that he was a local guy, but they're not going to not offer Prince a contract just because he's not from there, if they were willing to spend on Tex, they'd be willing to spend less on Fielder

Also, if worse comes to worse and the Cardinals lose Pujols, I wouldn't be surprised to see them make a run at Prince.

Angels always have money. They do have a young first baseman in Mark Trumbo but I don't see much potential in him..

That really was idiotic lmfao. Vernon shows you fools gold for a year and the Angels bought into it.. Jays front office probably threw a party when they dealt that contract. But the Angels still have money and Kendry Morales' injuries took a turn for the worst

I could see the Nationals possibly going after him too.

Nationals would be foolish to sign him to huge money after that Werth deal, they have money, but they don't have Yankee/Red Sox money

Im pretty sure I remember seeing a story or it was on espn that they said that the Nationals have that type of money they just didnt want to spend it, but now they are starting to spend it. Not sure though.

Nationals need to add another starter before they start signing offense again. They will hit. Starsburg and Zimmerman is a good starter but the rest of their starters are either aging or having years that probably won't be repeated.

I agree, I could see him playing for the Angels. He is from California, that division is for the taking, and the Angels are a great organization to play for. They also have the money to pay him and are willing to pay. I think its a great place for him to go.

I honestly see him staying in Milwaukee somehow but with the great season he's having he could easily demand some big dollars. But I don't know why Milwaukee wouldn't pay him as much as they can without blowing the roof off the organization.

I would love for the Cardinals to pay out of their asses to re-sign Pujols and then we come in and sign Fielder for much less. Fielder is a fucking monster at Wrigley, granted he's facing shitty Cubs pitchers, but I would still love him playing for the Cubs.
