I agree with most of that. I think if Lester repeats last season in 2017 and 2018 he has a good shot. Sale has a lot more to prove imo and Price needs to show to be at least average in the playoffs. I also want to see a few more good years from Goldy.
 
The only Red Sox I think you can say has a legitimate shot at this point is Pedroia.

I think same should apply to Donaldson. I get that he's a late bloomer. so the fact that the lack of longevity will hurt him. If he has like two more 5.5 win seasons, and above average production after that, I think he has a good shot of getting in.

I thought about Pedroia.  I don't think he gets enough numbers to get in.  But I think he's worth talking about.

How so? He's had six seasons of wrc+ over 100. That's really good especially for a catcher.
