A couple of points on Rodgers: 1. Any time a 30+ player goes down to serious injury, the game of football is badly hurt. I love watching Rodgers and hate that we've just had possibly 10+ games of his prime stolen from us by a bad fall. Let it be a lesson to QBs--don't brace your fall, especially with your throwing arm. 2. We will see his value on full display with his absence because even though Brett Hundley will not be bad, the Packers roster is bad and lacks depth. They could lose every division game for the rest of the year.

The Eagles just became the absolute NFC favorite, if they weren't already.

The Vikings need to have Sam or Teddy for a chance to do anything. Keenum has been admirable, but there are too many missed opportunities with him.

LolBroncos

So the Saints might not suck

So the Raiders might suck

The Chiefs might be suffering too many injuries at this point.

Look at those Rams go.

The AS-J play was a touchdown. LolNFLofficiating.

All of which doesn't matter because there was no definitive proof that he never regained possession and therefore, because the on-field ruling was a TD, it couldn't be overturned. The touchdown call should have stood, according to that rule. They needed definitive proof that he never regained possession because of the on-field call. Had it been ruled a fumble and touchback, that would have had to stand as well.

Thats just not true though. If it were a coaches challenge, then yes you are right because in a coaches challenge it has to be a direct challenge of one aspect. In a scoring review, all aspects are looked at to determine if it was a score. They had clear evidence it was a fumble (literally there is a picture of the ball suspended in the air) and Corrente says he saw recovery once he was OB. As I said before, this was no longer a challenge for a TD or not, it was a challenge for the fumble which was obvious and evident. And from there there was nothing to show ASJ regained possession in the field of play, so its a touchback. Its not that hard to get

Still no comment on AP? I've been dying to hear your take ever since the first drive of the game.

Not really. The Bucs failed to show up on defense. AP will do jack shit against the division.

The 49ers really never had a chance to be 5-1

i see this too. its one game and he had a lot to prove too. it wont last.

piggybacking off of your rodgers comment. i cringe every time i see stafford slide throwing arm first into the defenders like hes going to blast them.
