We're a much better team now. I'm glad that we took that beating, but the outcome would be much different if we played the Colts now.

The Colts will be lucky to sniff the postseason this year.

I said it before, the Colts are a wild-card team at best.

I'm sorry to disappoint all of the bandwagon "fans" here.
Okay, says the homer. Sorry to say that not all of "us" are bandwagon fans, actually.

We'll see if we truly are a wild-card team at best, when we are in the post season. Your logic just doesn't work.. All I know, we played head to head, and we ###### your team up. The Giants did not even deserve to be on the same field, that day. Not a chance in hell.

If you heard what most former coaches and defensive players have said this season regarding the Giants, it typically takes 3-4 games for a defense to get on track with the new philosophy instituted by the new Defensive Coordinator, and to get on pace with him. It took them about 3 games, and on that 4th game they clicked.

I'm not going to stand here and say the Giants are better, they are not. Because of the injury bug that has struck the Colts, right now I think the Giants would have a fair shot at beating them -- but thats ONLY because of the injuries.

Lol.. You can say that about most teams. It takes a few weeks to get used to everything, especially when injuries occur. Let Peyton get used to the guys he has to work with now, everyone just expects him to work magic with ANYBODY who is in there. No, football is a game of chemistry, and that is just it.

I wouldn't feel that scared to play the Giants heads up, again. It'd only be closer, because of injuries.

There's a big difference between adjusting to an entirely new playing scheme and strategy, and just hoping that somebody will step up big in the shoes of an injured starter.

And regarding a matchup of the two, congratulations you sound like a genius for repeating exactly what I said in my previous post.

Now I'm gonna walk away from this discussion but leave one last thought for you to nibble on...

THE THREE OF YOU... SHUT THE <Censored> UP ABOUT HOMERS AND WHICH QB IS BETTER.

there.... had to get that off my chest because the three of you were whining like a bunch of 7 year olds.

Don't worry, it's the same guy that was accusing me of the same thing, when I represent a team that is 2-6 and historically one of the worst franchises in football. It's just a way for people to get at you, to make you feel like you aren't a true fan, when they have no idea. Don't even bother talking, let your team (Colts) do the talking for you.

I fail to see why that is bad if I agreed with in my post? All I did was just say in my post, I pretty much agree, we are the better football team top to bottom.

Sometimes you have to change your scheme and strategy, based on injuries. Let me give you an example. Dallas Clark would demand a lot of attention in the middle of the field, and teams would outline him for a gameplan, because they realized that he was a dangerous threat. Take him out of the Colts offense. Now, we have to scheme in other ways where to spread the ball, how to attack the middle etc. It changes things in the big picture.

I take it that last comment IS NOT directed at me..

Plus its all coming from the guy who constantly uses the line "Kleenex in aisle 4." Its such a stupid line.

Or however the <Censored> he says it.

I think the Giants are better than the Falcons, but thats just me. We have more weapons on offense than the Falcons and they lost Tony Gonzalez which is going to hurt them a lot.
we didnt lose tony g, wut are u talking about?

I'm proud to be a Bengals fan, win or lose. I'll get on them at times, but if you don't show any emotion, you aren't a true fan anyways.

All this talk sometimes makes me lose interest in football and the Colts.
