People are quick to forget in this scattered brain paced society , but iderrick Rose is a sports tragedy.

Compare ANY PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY'S 21 year old season with Derrick roses and tell be theirs are more dominant.

drove was a once in a hundred year player and it's sad we got robbed of what he could have done.

Rose was a phenomenal talent, but idk if you can consider him once in a generation when Westbrook was in the same draft class.

Rose was 22 in his MVP season and AD arguably had better seasons at age 21 and 22.

But I'm not taking anything away from the guy, he was great. But somehow I do think that the reason he was so good corresponds with why his peak was so short lived. Not a doctor so what do I know, but you have to think all the advantages he had over other players, e.g. quickness, explosives, leaping ability, is what ultimately took a toll on his body.

As for the once in a generation player - you can't really say that with all the amazing point guards we had/have in the last 5 to 10 years.

I've said it before, he puts his legs at such odd angles when moving. I've never seen a player put so much pressure on his joints with general movement. An injury was inevitable.

Once in a generation? He wasn't even a once in a decade player.

The Holding Onto His Knee reference will be used by me for years to come, so I would say yes.

That is very disrespectful, and it offends me every time.  You must stop.
