Mack > Clowney? IDK, man.

I like Tennessee trading down though.

Not too sure about San Fran going S in back to back years either.

I don't mind Mack over Clowney.

Landry in the 1st is interesting.

Clowney simply doesn't fit the Texans 3-4 defensive scheme. I would know; it's the scheme the Patriots ran in our 3 Super Bowl titles.

Clowney is a 4-3 DE. He's too strong to be playing OLB imo (weird to think about kinda)

He's by far the most talented player in this draft, but if you are drafting a 3-4 OLB, I gotta have Mack at the top

And I have Jimmie Ward replacing [W]hitner in that secondary. Eric Reid is a FS, Ward is a SS.

Can't really seeing us take a TE that high, even with the need. Though I'm not sure what we do with Pettigrew, I'm pretty sure Lombardi wants him back.

That and Fauria is suppose to have an expanded role next year.

Ebron is going to be a Jimmy Graham type player. My thoughts is that you'd run a 2 TE offense, with Broyles and Ebron left, Fauria as the Y and Calvin as ace; Bush as the RB. That's damn hard to defend

Might be right. I wouldn't mind it if Watkins is off the board there.

Clowney can fit in any defense man.

Landry is definitely a 1st rounder IMO. He should be, at least. He and ODB are pretty close.

Yea, I don't think Clowney would have any issue as a 3-4 OLB. Would still be going up against tackles, just wouldn't have his hand in the dirt all the time.

That'll be a surprise to see Mack go #1 but I guess last time they picked a player first overall that it turned out well.

They need a franchise player though.

Crennell would be an idiot to mess with the scheme they already have in place.  Making Watt a 2-gap defender would waste his talent.  They should have kept Wade Phillips, and drafted Clowney.  Watt and Clowney with one-gap freedom would be devastating.

btw I'm aware about Clowney after what I said. Texans camp is saying he can play SLB, so I'll buy it. If they think he can fit in their scheme, he will be taken #1 overall

And I'm aware Bortles isn't there. I did no trades, so I felt it would seem less dumb for me to omit him from a mock than having him go #26

Don't think Minn could pass up Bortles, man. I think he's a good fit for Norv's offense.

There's no way the Jets pass up Mike Evans or Marqise Lee if they're there. They can't justify taking another defensive player in the first round for the 1000th year in a row when the offense is this bad.

Lee is overrated, and isn't good enough to carry the offense as a Z receiver w/ no other help. Evans could have (although he's a bit overrated too) but that's because he's a big body X receiver. And even then, Geno struggled with his comeback pass accuracy, and that's Evans's best move. Plus he's not even on the board.

Your best bet is to take the freakishly fast OL, have a Top 3 defense for years to come, and get receiver help later. Amaro fits the Jets offense perfectly, since he lines up more in the slot than at TE. Jets trade up to like #39, they can get him.

Jets don't need any more slot guys. They need guys who can make big plays down the field.

Kerley is more than adequate in the slot.
