I think there's a very, very good chance the Bears trade up if the FO is convinced StL is taking Haha. Our biggest need by far is at S. And he seems like the only legit option for us.

Johnny to Houston could happen, but O'Brien likes his big, strong prototype QB. Not sure he'll like Manziel.

With Chris Long getting that 5 year $60 million deal last off-season, and Robert Quinn needing a contract next off-season, I don't think they'll want more money going to another DE, especially when they really have a chance to improve their team or collect more picks by trading out.

I agree that Manziel is too small for O'Brien's system, but I don't think Bortles or Bridgewater fits it. I think Mettenberger fits it best out of all the QBs in this class

Things I want to point out from this mock:

Kony Ealy is a pure DE, in both a 4-3 and 3-4. He's not an OLB

Love the Benj>MikeE picks

Darqueze is too low, he ain't fallin to y'all lol. Mosley is way too low too; after the combine I think he gets Top 10 looks, similarly to Kuechly

And finally, take off Amaro to the Patriots in Rd1. I can almost guarantee it, 100%, that it won't happen. I'm in the boat that NE won't even draft a TE at all, and that we double up on iOL this year. It's not going to be Amaro though.

I agree Mettenberger fits it best. I mean if everything goes right from character issues to development (which, who knows how that'll go), Mett will literally be a Brady clone, who OB obviously coached and has said he want's his QB to be like. But I don't think Bortles doesn't fit it, and who knows, maybe he'll want a guy with some mobility like Bortles.

You think he can play 3-4 end at 275?

FWIW, Charles Davis and Steve Muench have both said they have no issues with him being a 3-4 OLB/rush end.

Sure he can play 3-4 OLB. But he's a 2nd-3rd rounder if you are drafting him as that, imo

He reminds me a lot of Chandler Jones, who is the same 4-3/3-4 DE, and also rotates to DT in 4-3 sub pkgs. His combine info will show that he is bigger than Jones was, and unless he tweaked something, he should be faster than the other Mizzou alumni, like Sheldon Richardson and Aldon Smith. I expect him to get bigger, and I think he already has tbh. Wouldn't be surprised if he weighed in at 280, and hits 285 soon. At his height, that's a solid 3-4 end, and he will be quick and strong enough to succeed

I don't like Manziel as the #1 pick. At all.

I feel like there's gonna be a lot of trading in this year's draft. All of this will be shaken up

definitely agree with Giants taking a tackle or Guard if there's one available at that pick.
