Folks, if you didn't enter last week, jump in. It's a lot of fun.

My week 4 upsets:

Vikings over Falcons
-I don't believe Minnesota has a better team than Atlanta, but I'm feeling a huge debut week (as a starter) for Bridgewater and a refocused gameplan by Norv Turner that doesn't abandon the run, prematurely.

That's the only one I'm feeling.

How do you define an upset? Spread?

General Consensus among everybody here. I figure someone will speak up if somebody makes an absurd pick, you know?

Check out the week 3 thread. I've got the rules outlined in the first post.

Bears over Packers if that's still considered an upset

I dunno. At Soldier Field. Packers 1-2 with no OL.

Any other opinions? I would assume Green Bay doesn't go 1-3, so I'm not hugely opposed to allowing that pick.

Even as a Bears fan I'd find it hard to not see the Bears as the underdog here. The whole defense is banged up. Were missing 2 safetys, a LB, a DT and a CB. Offensively I don't know if Marshall is 100%. Even fully healthy i think the Bears would still be an upset pick

This is why I think it would be easier to just go by the Spread. Less confusing and at least you have a definition of an upset. Not saying you have to get it 100% right but just use the vegas spread to determine who is the favorite and who is the underdog.

As for my picks this week:

Raiders over Dolphins. - Not much here, just taking a shot.

Buffalo over Houston - Buffalo's got a great tandem of RBs and Houston is giving up around 140 per game. Fitzpatrick looked awful last week. Foster is probably going to make or break this game if he plays but I like Buffalo's chances even if he plays.

Chiefs over Patriots - I haven't been impressed by NE yet. They should be pretty solid on defense, but offensively they've been a bit of a disappointment. I didn't see them last week but in week 1 Miami was all over Brady. If they pressure him enough the Chiefs could take this one.

fwiw, the pats defense is a whole lot better than "pretty solid". Our last two games, we've allowed 1 TD, and that was the first drive of Wk2. Our defense is top 3 in this league

Chiefs will be tough tho, since our OL is garbage

what I meant was their D should be pretty solid against KC.
