Personally I think he'd be in Golden State if they offered him full control, but I could be wrong.
I would trade our 1st and salary fill (Bradley S&T, Bogans) for Monroe if our pick isn't Top 3nolafan33 said:My guess with Van Gundy is that he'll move Monroe and put Smith at PF.

That must be why he didn't have a job for the past three years hahaRipCity32 said:Was watching a THTV video on ESPN, and the guy basically said that SVG is the best coach in the league aside from Gregg Popovich.
Thoughts?
I never thought he was that good at all. I'm pretty sure he was part of the reason Dwight left too.nolafan33 said:I was kind of thinking about it the other day, where has this idea that Van Gundy is an elite coach came from? From what I remember he was a good coach, but I didn't ever think that highly of him, to the point where I thought he was one of the best.
Out of the active coaches in the NBA, Pop, Carlisle, Doc, & Thibs are undisputedly better coaches. Then you have the Vogel/Spo/Brooks group of coaches, where you don't know if they are good because of their rosters, or because they are actually good coaches. And then you have the young up and coming coaches, Stevens/Hornacek, who did really well with not great rosters.RipCity32 said:Who's better though? I'd say Carlisle is. Doc probably is too.
But other than that, I can't really think of any. You might say Spo cause of the rings but I wouldn't go there.
Forgot about Thibs.bosoxlover12 said:Out of the active coaches in the NBA, Pop, Carlisle, Doc, & Thibs are undisputedly better coaches. I'd put SVG probably at #6, behind Spo and those 4. But you can definitely argue that he's #10 as well.
