With the emergence of Michael Thomas, who has all the makings of a #1 WR, and the fact that the Saints pretty much grow WRs on trees, this makes sense.

If they trade him it will be for a first, which makes all the sense in the world.

I know the Eagles are in on him but I hope they don't trade a first for him.

Reports say the Patriots offered #32 overall, as well as a pick swap (Id assume 2nds or 3rds) for Cooks, but New Orleans wants more

That tells me they have better offers on the table, or they're completely ok with just kind of saying "ok, we aren't getting what we want so we will go back home with Brandin."

I'm interested in Philly. They really wanted him in the draft, but the Saints jumped in front of them to draft him. They then expressed interest in him before last years trade deadline. Now they're back at the table.

He's a solid receiver, young receiver, but I wouldn't give up much more than the 32nd pick for him.

I wouldn't trade much at all for Cooks, but he could open up Philly's offense a lot. They had no reliable deep threat last year, and though Wentz hit Treggs on a 60 yard bomb in their first game together, Treggs isn't an NFL level receiver.

Supposedly the deal is done and will be announced on Friday, with the Titans.

I would assume it's something like Cooks and a 4th for #18

Good on the Saints for getting a first for him.

Yeah, the Eagles need more than one piece so they couldn't overcompensate for him

Now there's a report that the Saints turned down the 18th pick straight up for Cooks.

Patriots never pay their guys, and they still come out ahead.

Yeah I don't really want a pick, I wanted an already established defensive player in return.
