Browns signed Texas Tech QB Graham Harrell.

Choosing to sign with Cleveland is a surprise after Tech coach Mike Leach lambasted Eric Mangini over the weekend. Despite his record-setting college career and top-flight accuracy, there are concerns that Harrell is a marginal talent who was simply a product of Leach's system.

Lions got Otis Wiley (yay)

According to a source close to the situation, the Detroit Lions have signed Michigan State safety Otis Wiley to a free agent contract. Wiley will take part in the team's rookie and free agent minicamp this weekend in Allen Park.

Wiley (6-2, 210) is a physical presence at safety and was expected to be a mid-round draft pick but he suffered a knee injury in the seventh game of the season and did not get drafted.

Wiley, who missed the game against Michigan, tried to come back but wasn't as productive and his draft status suffered. Wiley will see a crowded field at safety with the Lions.

In addition to recent second-round draft pick Louis Delmas, the Lions have four veteran safeties back from last season: Daniel Bullocks, Gerald Alexander, Kalvin Pearson and Stuart Schweigert.

I'm pretty sure he's a solid player, not as good as his brother obviously but I think DJ is probably faster than Anquan.
