If the Orioles give up anything of value for Wade Miley I'm going to injure a baby kitten

Red Sox had late night talks with the White Sox in regards to Sale.

Heyman also believes the Dodgers are a sure bet to do something impactful today.

Also sounds like Bruce to Mets is pretty close to being done.

4 hours left. 0 trades so far today. Usually between 10-15 trades on deadline day every year

If I'm the Mets I'm doing that, depending on who else is in the package.

If you're expecting anything close to what Cleveland offered you're going to be very disappointed BCF.

Hoping for a blockbuster with Texas that includes Lucroy, and JJ. Something around Gallo + Mendez

I read this morning Texas was out. You guys are running out of options. Options are either Houston and NY today or wait until the offseason.

Texas isn't out. They haven't talked since last night because they had a framework of a deal in place and Milwaukee is shopping Lucroy around and seeing if it's best to package Lucroy/JJ or trade them separate.

Rangers beatwriter just said an hour ago or so the Rangers are waiting back to hear from Milwaukee.

Because the Rangers wouldn't give up the pitching prospects Milwaukee wanted.

We'll see though. Obviously Texas would be able to match and beat any Mets package.

"The Rangers “keep plugging away on Lucroy,” tweets ESPN’s Jerry Crasnick.  Crasnick, however, believes the Brewers may need to lower their expectations to get a deal done today."

Yeah. The market is insane right now on RP and the Brewers have 3 relievers who are all solid and under team control for 3+ years. I'm guessing we see some sort of action after 2 with the Brewers either with Lucroy or their relievers.
