BC is probably cringing though. Not having a farm system is so retarded. 
 
The core of our team for the most part was homegrown, and its the best route to go.

Sadly the Orioles desperately need a starting pitcher and a lefty setup man, but once again our farm system is so depleted that we're not going to be able to make a move. the only thing we have is Christian Walker (1B), Trey Mancini (1B), and Chance Sisco (C ). Luckily, with Chris Davis being locked up like he is we probably won't need a 1B any time soon. We probably will need a catcher with Wieters possibly being gone in the offseason.

But I still don't see any of those guys being enough to land a guy like Andre Cashner or Jeremy Hellickson. Sad, I don't know how this team has not had anything decent in the minor leagues for trade bait for almost 20 years.
