2010 was an amazing year for MLB rookies...and 2011 could be even better. Of this list, who's the top for 2011? Feel free to add...but try not to be a homer at the same time.

- OF Desmond Jennings, Rays
- 1B Freddie Freeman, Braves
- 3B Mike Moustakas, Royals
- SP Kyle Drabek, Jays
- SP Michael Pineda, Mariners
- C Jesus Montero, Yankees
- OF Domonic Brown, Phillies

I'd lean towards Domonic Brown, they're going to need him since Werth is gone

I'm up in the air about Brown and I get the idea the Phillies aren't all that comfortable with him either. Amaro did a lot of searching for RF platoon mates, leading me to believe that they are only so confident in how ready he really is. Brown is also not a power hitter, so while Brown takes the spot in RF...he can't replace Werth in the lineup.

I am big fan of Drabek, I also see Brown stepping up with Werth gone.

I'd take Arencibia other Montero. Russ Martin will do most of the catching while his division foe will be the full time starter. Here's a list of rookie position players that I think will be starting on opening day. And the order of which I think how good they'll be. The other list is guy who will probably start the year in the minors and eventually get called up during the season. I'm sure they'll be more names, but these are the bigger named prospects who could help out there team in a big way.

Opening Day Starters:
Freddie Freeman
Domonic Brown
Desmond Jennings
J.P. Arencibia
Justin Smoak
Danny Espinosa
Brent Morel

Potential Callups(who could make an impact):
Dustin Ackley
Brandon Allen
Brandon Belt
Zack Cox - Who know when he'll get the call with Freeze in the bigs now. But it should be this year.
Jason Kipnis
Jesus Montero
Mike Moustakas - Could be as early as May.

Thoughts?

Justin Smoak isnt a rookie anymore, he exceeded 130 at bats. Im going with Mike Moustakas, dude it 36 HR's and 124 RBI's in AA and AAA. That dude is ready to do work.

I'm not sure the qualifying rules so I don't know if he will qualify but Craig Kimbrel with the Braves could easily be the Axford this year. He was really good in about 20 innings of work this past year(posting highest K rate of any player with 20 IP ever).

I don't see Domonic Brown even competing in this category. From everything I've heard or read they are going to split his time with Francisco and I've heard bad things about him actually being MLB ready. May not turn out true but I just don't see it, and I really don't see Freeman doing it unless he figured something out in the offseason. He was no where near on time with his swing in his September call up with the Big club.
