Jason Thompson came out of Rider. I think he got the 2nd most double-doubles in the NCAA last year with 20-something. He's from New Jersey and his younger brother is a junior guard at Rider.

cuz he can't evaluate talent -- ala look at his picks the last few years.. and he can't attract enough trades/free agents to make a viable team..

You do know Petrie is best known for how good he is at evakuating talent right? He has made one bad pick, excluding this one in the last decade. (Quincy Douby) I'll give you the trade point, but not the evaluating talent part.

Its Jason Thompson, there is also a Jason Thompson here from here thats my age. So the name kinda sticks for me.

Also I think he could be good, the guy has size 6-11 250 he averaged 20 and 12 this last season and 20 and 10 the year before that, also about 2.5 blocks per game. Sure that was in a small school that didn't play huge schools, but this guy dominated from the looks of it. So I think he could be a solid guy in the league.

Your also forgetting about Ricky Minard who was in the same draft with Martin.
