YES! I can't wait to have Theo in Detroit. He has always been a favorite player of mine believe it or not. I always get him on my NBA Live team. This is GREAT news.


Here is what I read. And it makes this signing even more pwnage:

Ratliff returned a week ago and has looked spry – he absolutely can help. Boston did itself some good in signing P.J. Brown, but Ratliff is four years younger and the more active defender.

He’s also four years younger than Davis with greater mobility, a better scoring touch and superior shot-blocking skills.

Dale Davis would have been an insurance policy, and a darn good one. Theo Ratliff represents something else: A guy who goes into the mix with Jason Maxiell and Amir Johnson as a contender for the rotation.
