Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young's NFL career fell apart because of repeated arrests. His problems have continued since the Lions cut the former second-round pick in 2013.
Young was arrested in Los Angeles on July 9 on a felony charge of battery with serious bodily injury, according Deputy Amber Smith from the Los Angeles County Sherriff's Department. Mia Torres of the LA District Attorney's office also informed NFL Media that Young faces a separate count of battery on school, park, or hospital property. His bail was set at $105,000 and he is in custody at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility.
Young, 24, faced eleven charges, including four charges of felony burglary and assault charge, stemming from incidents in May of 2013. Lawyers have delayed Young's legal process as he sought medical treatments, according to the Detroit Free Press. Young had a Monday morning court date set at a Compton, California Courthouse.
