As rapper Biggie Smalls would say, The Professor has gone from ashy to classy. When the 23-year-old tried out for the And1 team four years ago in Portland, he was a struggling, scrawny college student working at a grocery store.

Today he's still the same scrawny kid with the absurd crossover, but he's known from Australia to Japan, one of the most popular And1 ballers, and a main attraction on the ESPN reality series "Streetball," which chronicles the craziness of the And1 tour.

The Professor's new life consists of balancing hoop dreams and acting dreams.
In a recent interview with Grayson Boucher, they asked The Professor "Do you still aspire to be in the NBA or have things changed?"

When I started doing movies, my goals were starting to change. I recently got an opportunity to play for the CBA team in Atlanta called the Atlanta Krunk. I think I'm going to give it another run with regular basketball and see what happens out of that. I'm only 23, so I figure I still got time. It's still a goal, but if I didn't make it I wouldn't be mad because I got so many opportunities from streetball.

It would be cool to see the guy play in the NBA IMO.
Do you think it will happen?

Never gonna happen... He's not even close to being one of the best players on the AND 1 team (well, maybe he is now that all the good players left).

I have to agree with BKS.

He's not good enough, too frail. Kenny Brunner aka Bad Santa has a better shot IMO.

Jerry Dupree (The Assassin) has also at least played in the D-League and been invited to training camp a couple times.

AO had a pretty good chance, IDK if any of you watch(ed) And-1, but Mike James came on the show a few years ago and AO absolutely fried him.

The Professor is a very good player. He's obviously a great handler, and he has a very good jumper.

With that said, I believe the kid is 5'6, and is not a very bulky kid. I wouldn't rule it out because he's a very good player, but it's improbable.

Main Event was easily the best all-around player on AND 1.
Main was nice without a doubt, but AO was the best hands down IMO

Baby Shack is nice too, the way he's developed over the years has been crazy, he's damn near unstoppable now.

Anyone ever see AO in the DL?

11.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists

Not too shabby.

Guys that average 20 and 10 in the D-League have trouble sticking to an NBA squad, so this proves that a guy who put up 11 and 4 has no shot and neither does anybody else from AND 1.

People said the same about Skip, and look how he's doing.

I think there are a couple of guys in AND1 who could crack a team, not saying they would be superstars but they could be solid bench players or role players.

Other then Skip nobody has gotten a real chance to prove what they can do. Right now their 1 for 1. I dont know why the NBA shuns these guys.

Helicopter is sick.
Guy tears up Europe, ABA, and Japan everytime he plays.
Could probably be in the DLeague.
