Romo is #3 in Passer Rating. He's in some all time category as well, but it might just be the Cowboys' record book.

Rings don't mean anything. Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson have fucking Super Bowl rings. Romo is better than Eli. End of discussion.
Neither of them have a Super Bowl MVP trophy...

If you look up overrated in the NFL dictionary, Tony Romo's mugshot would appear next to the definition.

Romo stinks. End of story.

There is no doubt that Eli has established himself as a top ten QB in the league.

EDIT: The biggest need for the Cowboys is a prayer.

Bad QB's don't finish in the top five for passing yards.

They don't throw for 4,000+ yards in back to back seasons or 30+ TD's.

Brees threw 22 picks last season, and I would bet that his receivers didn't cause ten of them.

Eli's top two targets missed a significant portion of the season, and he still put up strong numbers.

You should know as well as anybody, that the Meadowlands feature some of the harshest conditions to throw the football in. For example: Brees, Ryan and Rivers get to play in near perfect conditions for the whole season.

Playing 105 consecutive games in a row only helps his case.

His TD/INT ratio just ain't cutting it

Care to refute the rest of my points?

It's been well documented that nine or ten of Eli's picks last season were tipped balls off the hands of his receivers.

Few QB's had worse luck than Eli last year. In fact, you would be hard pressed to find another one who faced as much adversity as he did. Between losing his top WR's for many games, tipped balls that made his stats look worse, and having a revolving door at O-Line for the entire season.

I hate to agree but I think Eli is top 10, but barely. He has a proven track record of playing very well in the playoffs during our Super Bowl run. Some of those other QB's named havent even made the playoffs, let alone played an important game.

Eli over Romo? Some of you are really LOLworthy. Romo is the best QB in the BEAST, and EASILY a top ten quarterback. He's better than Ryan. He's better than Schaub. He's DEFINITELY better than Freeman, and undoubtedly better than Eli. Some of you people's logic is fucked. Jesus Christ.

1.Peyton Manning
2.Tom Brady
3.Drew Brees
4.Aaron Rodgers
5.Philip Rivers
6.Michael Vick
7.Matt Ryan
8.Matt Schaub
9.Ben Roethlisberger
10.Josh Freeman

There you go
You people are hilarious. This is such an LOLworthy list.

Romo>Vick
Romo>Ryan
Romo>Schaub
Romo>Freeman

Neither Schaub nor Freeman has had a playoff start, and Matt Ryan has lost both of his, AND lost one of them 48-24 as a higher seed in the GeorgiaDome.

You people are such morons. Wow.

The only thing that is "LOLworthy" is your argument.

I mean...really? Playoffs? You couldn't come up with a more compelling argument? If you're going to try to defend Romo, I think there are better things to bring up than Playoff records.

What's hilarious is you people don't think he's a top 10 quarterback, which is something that is undeniable.

Vick is 2-3 in the postseason, so that makes him better than Romo right? Playoff record ain't everything either, I mean you gotta look what happened in those games. So if somebody got carried to 6-0 win, and other QB lost 37-38, the one who got carried is better? Don't sleep on Freeman either, dude is a beast. He's been clutch all year, and he has a better TD/INT ratio than Romo had in 09. Yeah Romo has him destroyed in yards, but Romo had a lot more attempts.

"Here's the kick.... and Romo fumbles the ball!"

Matt Ryan did lose 48-24, to the Super Bowl champs. And how is it his fault the Falcons D gave up 48 points?

Actually, all four are better than Romo, and almost any NFL fan would take those 4 over Romo

i would put Eli or Romo at #15

Ryan Fitzpatrick is completely underrated, and if given an OL like the Vikings, he would be great. And he had very good stats last year too

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Orton, and Cutler? Lolno. Romo isn't a scrub, he's a decent QB, but he's not a top 10 guy.

Not those four. You people are literally hilarious. No wonder I post football at a different forum. Here's my last post on the topic.

Go learn a thing or two about the damn game before you post such strong opinions.
