The best division in baseball?

Same thing can be said of the AL Central, last year the Tigers and White Sox were at the bottom. Its too early to say a clear cut favorite because it will be dependent upon that 3rd team in the division who no one saw as very competitive or is still playing at a high level despite losses. Aka Phillies, White Sox, Cardinals, and Red Sox.

The Rays are over .500 right now.  That may not last, but soon the Yankees will be over .500 and competing for the division.  I'd like to think Toronto would also get over .500.  Orioles will dip a bit in record, but still be above .500 (even if slightly).  I could easily see 4 teams over .500 in this division, so the AL East being the strongest division isn't just some made-up fantasy.

Let's take a look at both divisions:
 
NL East - 118 wins, 114 losses
 
AL East- 121 wins, 107 losses
 
Clearly the AL East is better right now, even if slight. If you use the argument that the Braves are so bad, that can be held against the winning teams too, since they get easy non-competitive wins against the Braves.

I mean its obviously the NLC thats the best, with CHI, PIT, and STL leading the way. Nobody rationalistic thinks the NLE is better
