Also has to be a new, major injury. Idk how they can prove that.bosoxlover12 said:The debate is whether Rodgers was placed on IR for a major injury or a minor injury. A major injury is defined as one that needs 6+ weeks to heal, a minor is one that needs less time than that.
Because Rodgers was placed on IR for the same injury that he was supposedly removed off IR from 5 days prior, teams are arguing that it should be considered solely a minor injury since there was enough for the team's medical staff to clear him to play Week 15, and there was nothing evident to state he re-injured it further.
By rules of a minor injury being placed on IR, the player is to be released when healthy.

So the Packers have to prove that he was placed back on IR for a major injury, and not just for rest purposes since their season ended.
it doesnt have to be new, but it has to show a medical re-aggravation of the same injury, which i doubt they haveGMF1991 said:Also has to be a new, major injury. Idk how they can prove that.

Okay, so what do you want to happen here? He wouldn't leave the Packers even if he was forced to be released.Savage said:We have Jimmy G. Would trade him for any QB out there
