Mike Brown is actually giving up a draft pick? HOLY SHIT! I know many trash Mays and say he's garbage, but I've liked him since his USC days, so personally I like the addition, just hope we didn't give up a big pick for him. Mike Zimmer can get the most out of these guys and we can use all the depth we can get.

He needs developing, that's for sure, but if the draft pick was a low round pick, not much risk involved here.

<3 Taylor Made.

However, he has no instincts and takes poor angles.

Worth the gamble though considering there is little risk in giving up a late round pick (if that's what it is).

I'm hoping it was a 6th or 7th round pick. Maybe the pick they received for Ochocinco? Mike Brown is just not a guy that gives up draft picks so this completely surprises me, even if it was a low-end draft pick. I think Zimmer likes him and Chris Crocker is terrible as well, so hopefully he can develop into a good player, I know he needs some work, I'm not claiming him to be an All-Star player but I like him.

So he goes to one of the worst teams in the NFL. Well at least their secondary won't look too bad. Mays is a great player, and I'm surprised teams like Dallas and Minnesota didn't come calling hard enough to get him. I'm expecting Mays to have a nice impact on a bad team this year.

The Bengals have a good defense, Mike Zimmer has really turned this defense around throughout the years. The problem has been the offense struggling and the defense having to do too much, being on the field too much. The games we do win this year, will be because of solid defense and the offense just doing enough, just need to limit the penalties and turnovers. If we could get the offense rolling this wouldn't be a bad team, problem is having a Rookie QB just thrown in there to start in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL. If anything is going to hold this team back, it will be the offense.

Oh wow.... On Mays deal

4th round pick which can turn to a 3rd round pick if Mays plays 80% of defensive snaps...

Bengals tried getting him in the second round of the draft, but didn't get him, Zimmer made the deal happen.

He better play his ass off now.

I like the pickup. I liked mays in USC and after. This doesn't make up for losing Jonathan Joseph but it sure helps. Now address offense....
