I don't think so. I think the NFL owners and player want to get a deal done too badly. I'm hoping the owners will stay at the 16 game season though. Cause thats gonna be a big difference maker.

Yeah, they want to get a deal done so badly thats why the Players Union has been a brick wall and basically refused to negotiate because they won't budge from their demands.

I am pretty confident that the league does end up in a lockout. If you've paid attention to any of the news surrounding the issues, both the owners and players association have seemingly made more progress on protecting themselves during a lockout, then they have towards getting a new CBA done.

Both sides are still too far apart and there's not a lot of time between now and the start of next season. All I can say is the NFL Draft is going to be very awkward.

Going all the way back to the start of this season, the issue has loomed, and ZERO progress has been made between both sides. I am curious to know how anyone is confident that something will go down in a matter of months, when it didn't all year long. The Players' Association began telling players to save their gamechecks at midseason, knowing that they have no intention to budge of their demands and neither do owners. The actions made by both sides in protecting their own interests, shows that neither is prepared to get to the table and compromise. I think shit hits the fan before league mediators are brought in to aid in making a new deal.

Glad the outcome of the game. Seeing Charles Woodson finally get his ring made my day. Even though he missed half the game. I was worried they were in trouble when I heard he was out for the game. He's the quarterback of the defense. That defense was getting beat up. Glad it was near half-time. Otherwise, the Steelers might of scored more on them. Just glad the Steelers didn't win, and the Lions beat the Super Bowl Champion! Say it's not something to be proud of, but I say it is! Haha. Overall, it was a great game.

I thought the Halftime show was good. It wasn't great, but really, Halftime shows are rarely great. Fergie sucked a bit, and they seemed to try to be more flashy than anything. With all the lights, and the appearances by Slash and Usher. like they wanted to keep people interested. I like The Black Eyed Peas and all, and I enjoyed watching it. Especially when they threw in "Where Is The Love" one of their 1st album, 1st hit songs.

The commercial were alright. I didn't hear the first few that well. The room was crazy loud. I really liked the Chrysler commercial with Eminem and showing all around Detroit and whatnot. I wasn't a haha enjoyment, but an interesting, happy enjoyment. Also, because I don't think I've seen Eminem in a commercial before.

It's happened before, man. The Owners can afford to not give the players what they want. Unfortunately, the players in no way want to play 18 games without getting significantly better health benefits for when they retire. Thats why I think, as well, that a lockout will happen.


A lot of people have been saying to me "Nah, neither side wants to lose that much money. They'll reach an agreement" when honestly, the Owners, I believe but i may be wrong here, and the league already are guaranteed to make their revenue from TV and shit like that for the 2011-2012 season.
