The Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets will play the first outdoor game in more than 35 years during the 2008-09 preseason.

The exhibition game on Oct. 11 at the 16,000-seat Indian Wells Tennis Garden will be televised by TNT.

The game follows the NHL's successful outdoor game on New Year's Day in Buffalo, N.Y.

LOL. I want it to be an asphalt court. Maybe they can let the Knicks play at Rucker.

This is going to be awesome when it goes down. I will not miss it for the world if this happens.

I hope its not windy. hahahaha. But wait.... About the fans, how will they be able to go to the game? It's not like a court has stands that hold more than 15k or more than 100 people.

I don't think they will allow fans in. But I'm not completely sure, I am just guessing.

He could do that at a regular game.

Security measures would be the same.

I hope so. Hmmm. I can't wait to watch it. I just hope something bad happens. I would never want to see a player have heart failure or something happen to Nene's last teste...

I think it'd be a lot cooler if they actually played on a court that's in a park or something than playing inside of a stadium
