Do an around the horn type of thing like Cowherd does. A part of the show where you have various members give a 3 minutes schpiel on the major sports news that is circulating through their city. Offhand...we definitely have Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Tampa, and the Bay Area covered.

I can handle hockey news and st. louis/kansas city news

ustream lets people not only use skype to call in, but also call in with a freakin cell phone man lol
there's also a chat room thing on the side of each feed so that people that can't watch can't chat, or they can send news through. Trust me, it's badass.

I'm thinking me and FPS hold a live podcast, then once in a while we hold a Around The Horn type gameshow.

I tested out uStream yesterday.
IDK why, but if I had another person on, the dialog is SOOOO delayed. To the point where it's damn near impossible to use.

That's what happens on my webcam. Not really bad, but I can tell it lags a little bit. It's lame when it does that.

I used just the microphone, no cam.
I tried it with sheed, it was so delayed, it made it impossible to communicate.
We will likely have to use Skype yet again unfortunately.

I'm sure it wasn't my internet. I hopped on Skype after and it was perfect.

yea but that could be something with the way you connect to the ustream server. Zero said he used UStream just like anyone else, and there was no lag. But he did it through skype. He had people IM him on Skype, then when it was their turn to get on the show, he would call them and they would join the convo and it wouldn't lag because the computer was outputting it to UStream not 3 different machines to one Server.
