There's always next year!Wish I would have found this forum before the season started to make picks..
I'll go with the Packers and Steelers.
As a fan of the Dolphins.. I HATE THAT SAYING!There's always next year!
Being a Bengals fan, I know what that's all about. As a fan of the Dolphins.. I HATE THAT SAYING!
Jets get plenty of respect but look at who you guys have been playing.Jets not getting any respect for the 3rd straight week. Can't wait for that victory Sunday night.
Yeah, they would have, because the Jets are better than both the Colts and the Pats. The same Steelers team who the Jets beat already? The Steelers better than the Pats? Not according to the media before last week's game. The Pats were being talked about as this unstoppable force and were many's Superbowl pick. Now that they lost the Steelers are the better teamJets get plenty of respect but look at who you guys have been playing.
Seriously. You think anyone in their right mind would have bet against the Colts or Pats? HELL no. And now the STEELERS? Who are better than both Colts and Pats? HELL NO!
The Jets and their fans have this mentality that they get no respect. When really, the fact is the teams you have played have better QB's and a lot more recent success. So why would you expect anyone to pick the Jets?
It's logic.
Agreed = The Jets are better than the Colts and Pats and they proved that.Yeah, they would have, because the Jets are better than both the Colts and the Pats. The Jets were missing a pretty good safety in that game as well, he's not nearly as good as Troy, but he means a lot to the Jets and is that the heart and soul of their defense. We were also missing one of the best DTs in the NFL and have been since the opening game of the season.Agreed = The Jets are better than the Colts and Pats and they proved that.
The Jets beat the Steelers without Troy PoluWOW. So not much stock is put into that game. Much like the Spurs pounding the Mavs without Dirk, it was meaningless. Heed to that fact.
The Pats were an unstoppable force. There is no denying they were the best team heading into the playoffs and my point was no logical person would have bet against them from an outside opinion. [aka not being a fan of the Jets or Pats] But an unstoppable force met an immovable object and the object won that round. Play the game 10 times and it could just as easily be the Pats winning 7 as the Jets winning 7.
You're aloud to be biased being a Jets fan as I am being a fan of the Steelers. Opinions are not wrong until they play the game this weekend. Everything until then is simply speculated opinions.
Anything can happen in one game.Yeah, they would have, because the Jets are better than both the Colts and the Pats. The same Steelers team who the Jets beat already? This is one of the most ignorant posts I've ever seen here.Anything can happen in one game.
in '07, after beating NYG, nobody thought the pats would lose (except Twill)
yet they lost
I honestly dont see the Jets winning.
Unlike Brady, Roethlisberger does quite well vs the blitz. And PIT has a much better defense.
Also, I guarantee that if the Jets and Pats played a 9 game series v eachother, NE would win at least 6 games.
The Jets are lucky; but they will not win with that awful QB.
Like when the Giants won, Eli was bad, but he's much better than Sanchez. And the Giants had that ridiculous DL, which included Osi, Strahan, Coefield, Tuck, Kiawanuka, and one more DT that im forgetting atm. Pierce was a great MLB too.
Basically, the jets suck. they have a mediocre defense IMO. and when a team has a better OL than New England ie PIT, the Jets wont add as much pressure, and Heath Miller can have a field day against the shitty Eric Smith
Sanchez did well in the playoffs vs NE; did crap Week 2This is one of the most ignorant posts I've ever seen here.
Mark Sanchez shit on you guys twice this season, that's all that needs to be said. You can say he sucks, but he's beaten you 3 times in 2 years, including the one game where it mattered the most.
The Jets suck? Lmfao. 11-5, two straight AFC Championship games, etc... We have a mediocre defense? Lmfao. The Jets have a top 3 defense in the NFL. Pittsburgh has a better OL than New England? Lmfao. Pittsburgh has a terrible o-line whereas the Pats have one of the best in the NFL.
The Sanchize was 21/30 with 220 yards, 3 TDs, and 0 picks in Week 2. If that's crap, I certailnly hope he plays like dogshit for the rest of his career.Sanchez did well in the playoffs vs NE; did crap Week 2
NE has the most overrated OL in the league... our best is def. Vollmer, yet Light, who is atrociously bad, made the PB.
And Sanchez does not win the games, its the defense, which is way overrated. If they didnt face NE, who has such a bad OL, they wouldnt get any pressure on the QB. NE did so well in the 2nd game cuz the Jets didnt apply pressure. And Brady ripped them up that game.
And the Jets had an easier schedule than the Pats in the Regular Season. Instead of playing SD, who at the time had the #1 offense and # 1 defense, and IND, who wasnt as banged up at the time, the Jets played the Texans, who tied for last in their division, and Denver, who holds the #2 pick in the draft. The Jets net scoring was average, at 63. The Pats had 143% more net scoring than the #2 Net Scoring team, the Steelers. New England had 325% more than the Jets, at 205.
The Jets got lucky; thats it.
and btw, you're getting very close to becoming Twill... so damn biased with all your new york crap....
honestly, shut the fuck up for once. lol
