Everyone ranks JUlio Jones and Roddy White as the most dynamic WR duo and none of them have been ranked yet, surprised.

exactly. I think Julio is better than Cruz and I love Cruz. But I can understand statistically why people would vote for Cruz over him. And I thought Thomas was great last year but I'd prefer to hold off on ranking him higher than some of these other guys. Then again i didnt see a lot of broncos games so i can't truly judge his talent either.

I'm really surprised by the votes for Thomas. While I would still say that he's Denver's best receiver, I find that Eric Decker is really, really underrated. They're quite the pairing.

In that regard, how can we not assume that elite pairings like Julio/Roddy and Thomas/Decker don't diminish one another's stats?

At the same time, Thomas and Decker weren't great without a great quarterback, whereas I think Julio and Roddy would be.

I voted Cruz, but I don't think I'd even have Thomas in my top 10.

1. Megatron
2. Marshall
3. Green
4. Larry
5. Dez
6. Andre
7. Cruz
8. Julio
9. Nicks
10. Roddy

Nope. Demaryius don't even get in the top 10, for me.

I find that a lot of people think Victor Cruz is overrated, but I think he's absolutely fantastic. Then again, I have to watch him multiple times a year, so maybe that's part of it.

Also, if James Jones has another year like last year, do we begin to consider him?

Reggie Wayne has been overlooked his entire career. The guy has put up 1000+ yards eight of the last nine years, and he was 40 yards shy of nine straight with Curtis fuckin Painter at QB.

i think the crop of receivers in the league is so big right now that it's difficult to narrow it down to 10. if we had time, I'd go 15 -- maybe that's something we do next year.

I think Julio/Roddy is an interesting one. Julio's #s seem to go up more and more, while White's numbers have stayed roughly the same. White isn't better nor worse with Julio, the question really is would Julio be better or worse on his own? I love Cruz, but as a slot receiver. i've never really seen him go up for a grab, but his talents after catching the ball are pretty remarkable. I prefer someone that can go up and haul that pass in, but again it's tough to decide. I do agree though, I wouldn't personally put Demaryius in the top 10. At least not for another year.

My personal 10 would probably be:

1. Megatron
2. Marshall
3. AJ
4. Fitz
5. Dez
6. Andre
7. Julio
8. Cruz
9. Wayne
10. Roddy

and i love Nicks but he'd just miss the cut. I can't in good conscious give a nod to him over Wayne or Roddy who have been much more consistent in their careers. Nicks would probably be 11, Demaryius 12, then the next 3 some order or Steve Smith, Dwayne Bowe & VJax.

Cruz will never go up for the grab, or rarely. That's why I label him as a slot receiver, with a shitload of  YACs because of his swiftness.

I'm still voting Roddy White because he's always been a good receiver

I could see myself voting Reggie though.

Honestly you could interchange the next few spots for the WRs. Not much separates them.

On that note, I'd put Reggie at 11. I'm not overlooking him. I just think the ten I listed are better than he is, at this point.

Whether he can go up for a catch or not, why do we care so much about method instead of production?

Because method of production can show who is a product of a system, who is naturally talented and can produce anywhere.
