"flacco and consistent in the same sentence"

I know more than you do son. as does EVERYONE ELSE here. Wonder why you are the only one on this entire board that thinks Flacco is better than Ryan. Because you are simply straight wrong, and we have all pointed it out to you.

I'm tired of all your bullshit. You're no better than Bleacher Creature, and he's banned. Which will be you very soon if you don't quit being an ignorant little annoying fuck.

I've already showed you that he's better than Ryan in January/February, because Matt Ryan sucks even worse than Romo in the postseason.
When was this?  Also just speaking about January & Febuary if this is the case than I hope you didn't vote for Peyton Manning if this is the case.

Anyways QBR doesn't lie, it takes into account the difficulty of every throw and doesn't take into account all the extra bullshit that goes on after a receiver or Runningback make something happen
Ryan Playoff QBR
'08 - 74.1
'10 - 69.4
'11 - 69.1
'12 - 74.5
Flacco Playoff QBR
'08 - 43.2
'09 - 55.0
'10 - 60.4
'11 - 59.7
'12 - 46.8

So please again tell me how Flacco performs better than Ryan in the postseason?  Flacco has had 1 more chance but still hasn't even come close to Ryan's worst post season run, so explain to me how Flacco is better than Ryan in the Postseason please?  The Passes he makes are below average to average which is justified by his 53.02 Career QBR rating.

I've been tired of your shit since I got here, to be honest. I'm arguing for Flacco because he's actually accomplished something in his career, whereas Matt Ryan has had a couple of prolific seasons and no postseason success to show for it. I have an argument, but people want to point to QBR like it's some sort of be all end all stat.

And yet you're using super bowl victories as a be all end all stat?

Is Brad Johnson better than Rich Gannon just because he won a Super Bowl?

Glad I wasn't the only one who took note of Flacco's straight up lob-passes in the Super Bowl.  Nothing about the guy's performance was prolific.  Both Boldin and Torrey bailed his ass out...not to mention San Fran's blown-ass coverage.

I'm using playoff victories throughout his career. Even if his defense carried him during his first season or two, after that he was pretty damn good in the playoffs.

How many straight years with at least one playoff win? 11:0 TD to INT ration in last year's playoffs.

Every quarterback gets a few lucky grabs. You're all simply noticing Flacco's because more because you don't think he's very good. He's a big, strong QB who's more accurate that you're all acting, has an excellent deep ball, and doesn't turn the ball over. He is a very very good quarterback.

NIce, I never said it was the be all end all stat. but it is a VERY telling stat, one that you can't argue against because it judges every pass and the difficulty of it.  So for you to sit here and say that Flacco is way better than Ryan is ridiculous than to claim that he is way better in the post season is ridiculous.  If the Ravens switch Defenses with the Falcons.  Baltimore is lucky to win 6 games this past season & Flacco is sent shipping.

I guess Trent Dilfer is now better than Dan Marino.... Someone please notify Dilfer that he can now actually be very proud of his career and expect to be added to the Hall of Fame

Okay seriously do you even watch the Ravens?

I do, but you don't play as well as Flacco has for years without spurts of luck, just like Matt Ryan throwing it up for Roddy White last year against the Panthers and the play becomes all Roddy as he halls it in. Just like Romo's near TD to Dez Bryant on a hail mary in a game last season. Every quarterback gets those throws. Nobody picks on Eli to Tyree. Y'all are just on Joe's case because it's Joe, and when he leads the Ravens to the playoffs again, and they'll be serious contenders to repeat, you'll remember this debate we had here.

I never said he was "way better" but he's certainly better in the postseason. Ryan hadn't had a good playoff game until Seattle, and that was only half a game.

I'm willing to make a sig bet with anyone on this board that Joe Flacco does not win a playoff game in this 2013-14 season. GUARANTEED.

Baltimore lost 8 starters from their SuperBowl team.
C - Matt Birk
WR - Anquan Boldin
LB - Paul Kruger
LB - Ray Lewis
S - Ed Reed
DT - Ma'ake Kemoeatu
LB - Dannell Ellerbe
CB - Cary Williams

They brought in 6 guys to replace them
C - AQ Shipley
DE - Elvis Dumervil
DE - Marcus Spears
DT - Chris Canty
S - Michael Huff

They lost a lot more than they gained and no I'm not just talking about the 2 extra guys.  I liked Arthur Brown & Matt Elam in the draft but lets get real about something they did nothing to replace Boldin offensively and as much of a AQ Shipley fan I am, he is no Matt Birk.  The Ravens Defense lost 3/4's of their LB'ing crew along with half of their secondary.  NO team has ever lost 8 starters after the SuperBowl, The most anyone has lost was 5.

You can obviously have your opinion in how good you think Joe Flacco is but this is a thread we will come back to at the end of the season for sure.  I love telling people I told you so.

Think what you want but I tell people I told you so more often than anyone I've ever met on a forum.  People tend to disagree with me than get on the band wagon later or just ignore the fact.  Can't wait for the Ravens to miss the playoffs this upcoming season and for Flacco to show exactly why he didn't deserve 20M+ a year.

BTW what have you ever been right about?  Not even that but who are you?

I did game by game, week by week predictions for all 32 teams, and I have the Ravens making the playoffs at 9-7 as a 5 seed, where they lose to the Steelers in Rd1

Ironically, while I have a 9-7 as a 5 seed in the AFC, I have two 11 win teams missing the playoffs

I could see something like that happen.  It's too early for me to make my predictions as I usually wait until the end of the preseason to see all the injuries first.
