I actually came pretty close to picking Matt Ryan, but I just feel like I need to see a few more years of him to verify his consistency. I went with Eli, but I'm really surprised more votes didn't go to Ben or Ryan.

I don't believe Matt Ryan is very good. I think he excels with good weapons. He's not going to Tom Brady anybody. He has three ELITE receiving options. Not many other players do. Matter of fact, I don't think any other team has three elite receiving options on one roster.

Matt Ryan's career has been loaded. Either a running game and decent wideouts or elite wideouts for the last few years. He's had more handed to him than any QB in recent memory.

I'd have picked Ben, but after he blew Pittsburgh's playoff hopes with horrible game ending INTs two weeks in a row last year, I had to give the nod to Eli.

No one will ever have the weapons Peyton Manning had when he had Edge, Harrison, Wayne & Clark and no one ever uses that argument against him. Anyways here are some others that come to mind.

Aaron Rodgers
Jennings, Nelson, Jones & Cobb

Flacco
Boldin, Smith & Rice

Tony Romo
Austin, Bryant & Witten

Mike Vick
Jackson, Maclin, McCoy & Celek

Those weapons aren't as good as the trio of White/Jones/Gonzales. Jones, Cobb, Smith, Boldin, Austin, Jackson, Maclin, and Celek are not elite players at their positions.

What makes someone elite to you?  Because I don't consider Roddy White or Julio Jones Elite either and Definitely don't consider an aged T-Gon elite anymore

I can agree with this.  To me there are very few "Elite" WR's in the game today, but there are lots of good & some great ones.
