They’re not playing like they were last season. Teague and Korver declined. Rumors say they should trade Teague and Horford to free up minutes for Schroder and Tavares. But they can still be good enough to contend. They just need more bench scorers. What should they do?

I agree partially. I really like Schroeder and I think he's a star in the making, so they should definitely try to clear up time for him to grow and blossom. I don't think that they should full on rebuild though. They're in a weird position -- without a true superstar if they "rebuild" by even trading away one main asset, they're likely a tanking team due to everyone being equally important to the team.

Losing DeMarre Carroll turned out to be a much larger setback than I think anyone could have imagined.

I think moves are needed for sure, maybe more of a re-tool than a full on rebuild though. I agree Teague hasn't been himself this season and they would be wise to move on from him so Dennis can absorb his minutes permanently. Like CF just said, the loss of Carroll was huge. Maybe they can flip Teague for a wing and get back to business

They're most likely going to trade Teague
Teague deleted Hawks images on his IG.

Teague to the Pacers would be very nice.

Yeah, they will never be better than they were last year. A bit of a retooling is definitely in order, although I haven't watched them this season at all. It's not really probable to win in this league without superstar talent

Teague is definitely gone, Horford may be as well as this is his first offseason as an UFA and I'm not sure Atlanta is where he'll want to stay.

I think it is time to move on from their current squad. Even in the east they justddon't have what it takes

How so? At point they already have George Hill who is very solid. Monta can play the 1 as well when hill is injured, and they have a bunch of guys like Joe young, CJ Miles, etc who can play the 2. Don't see how this benefits them really

It'd be best to have a true point guard.
