No.. Colt fans said

WE HAD HALF THE TEAM ON IR.

*Kam goes and checks*

Sees nothing but mainly practice squad guys and backups on IR.

David Garrard = Starter
MJD = Top 3 RB.

I think its ok to admit that. If neither were hurt the last 3 games, we would of won the Division.. Simple.
Jerraud Powers - Best CB on the team.
Melvin Bullitt - Starting SS
Clint Session - Starting LB
Gary Brackett - Starting LB
Joseph Addai - Starting RB
Austin Collie - Starting WR and played the best during his time in 2011.
Dallas Clark - All Pro TE
Pierre Garcon had lingering injuries that bothered him too, like you bring up with Garrard.
Oh let's not forget the perennial IR tandem with Bob Sanders an All Pro safety, and Anthony Gonzalez.
Kelvin Hayden - Starting Corner that I personally don't like that much. You still are making excuses about Garrard, and you have said many times you can't stand him.

Don't make fucking excuses for 2 football players. I realize MJD means a lot to the team, but you are saying all the guys I mentioned don't matter? I could name a few more too if you like, but you get my point.

You overrated Powers
Sessions = Meh
Brackett = Overrated
Addai = HAH
Collie = Product
Clark = Only factor listed.

Since the subject of the thread hasn't really been addressed, I think the most troubling prospect for the Colts has to be their running game, or lack thereof. They were fifth to last in rushing average last year, which led to Manning having the responsibility of throwing more. He performed adequately given the circumstances, (4700 yards, all time completion percentage), but he also had the least YPA of his career, and the offense, at times, was stagnant. People assume statistically that he had an amazing year, but a lot of those numbers are inflated given the offensive burden he had. I know we're talking about Manning here, but are the numbers we saw last year, considering age and injury (see: the thread article), sustainable even for his standards? I don't think that's a gamble Indianapolis wants to consider.

In order for the Colts to be successful, they have to be less one-dimensional. Maybe a healthy roster lessens that burden for Manning, but the strain that was placed on him last season needs to be addressed seriously.

This is why it isn't even worth debating the Colts with you. I swear to God you don't even watch any Colts games. Brackett means SO much to the defense. He's the heart and soul, and in the grand scheme of things for other systems he isn't a good backer, but for us his impact is huge. Collie and Manning were absolutely on fire, and Collie was quickly emerging through the few years he had been on the roster as one of Manning's favorite targets. Sessions on the outside is a player who brings a ton of intensity, and who really helps on our defense. We had to start Kavell Conner, a 7th round pick out of Clemson in his place (who played terrific, actually) but instead of Clint. That's a big damn drop for our defense.

You go and bitch about injuries, but then if a Colts fan does it you just bash them out for it. Dude. Seriously. If you are going to argue, take off the Jaguars rose colored glasses and admit the Colts had injuries that hurt them down the stretch too.

He's excellent for the Colts. He plays his role perfectly, and he is the heart and soul behind our defense. If you think otherwise you don't watch the Colts enough. He's also fucking amazing dropping back into coverage.. Notice how teams exposed that went Pat went in, with his less than spectacular coverage skills? He is young and has time, but still.

If you don't think the injuries the Colts faced changed anything for them, and then you bring up two Jags injuries, that would be being a homer, sir.

lmao that is the biggest homer thing I've seen in quite some time... Those are a bunch of important player for the Colts, all missing significant time... But since they wear the blue and white, they suck and their injuries don't count.

I'd say the same thing about the Jags if we have those players.

Jag fans overrate alot of players on our team.. But we just aren't that good. We have maybe 1 top 10 player and thats MJD.

No, he actually reads and understands the injuries. He takes a non bias view to the situation.

There you go again. You can't win an argument so you gotta call me a name. Dude. Doesn't make you look any smarter..

Win an argument?

Its a fact. Jags would of won the division if MJD wasnt taken out. If you dont think that, then you're dumb.

And the Colts won the division with more guys injured for a much longer time. You can't possibly believe that 2 games of no MJD outweighs Jerraud Powers missing 6 games, Hayden missing 5, Brackett missing 4, Clark missing 10, etc...

Considering that MJD is more important to the team than any of those players are to the Colts.. yeah.
If MJD didn't go down in the middle of the Colt game.. we may have won. And with that Win, we would of won the Division.

MJD is more important than them all when you just look at one player at a time, not when you combine them all.

Lets be honest... The Jaguars are getting better and were a contender last year, I just think they are still a year or two away from being complete. They are always good against the Colts no matter what team they have, I do, however think the Texans are becoming the team you have to worry about right now, especially if that defense improves, which I believe it will. There's no question though that the injuries that the Colts went through, that set them back a good bit and they still overcame it to win the division. It's quickly becoming one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL.
