I have no problem with major league teams calling up their entire 40-man roster in September, but why not limit the "active" roster to 27 or 28 players. The biggest problem is that those games are the most important games of the season and to allow teams to have 15 bullpen arms (an overstatement, but you get the idea) is unfair. The entire roster can travel with the team, but the manager has to declare which players are active for any given game.
