Schenn was recalled by the Flyers last week, going scoreless in four games. Schenn has recorded four goals and four assists for eight points in four games for Adirondack so far this season.
Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren updated the status of D Chris Pronger on Thursday.
"He continues to improve daily," said Holmgren. "Chris will start light exercise on the weekend."
The Flyers also recalled forward Zac Rinaldo and defenceman Erik Gustafsson from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Adirondack Phantoms. Both players are available for Wednesday's game against Winnipeg.
Rinaldo has appeared in five games for the Flyers so far this season, picking up his first NHL point last week and recording 28 penalty minutes.
Gustafsson has four assists in eight games for the Phantoms so far this season. He appeared in three games for the Flyers last season, and also posted 49 points for the Phantoms in 72 appearances last season.
