To have two lottery picks in this draft alone gives the Sixers one of the best futures in the league.
Add that to Noel, MCW, Turner (if they decide to keep him, could just trade him for other value), Thad Young (same deal as Turner). Hell, even Wroten looks like a great 3rd guard for the future.
Hawes has value too, they're set up great.
The only thing lucky about what's happened with them is the Pels not being as good as originally thought. They bought into their own hype and traded their pick in 2014 for help now. Sixers rolled the dice. Sometimes it works out.
