Lose Ryno, and a game later Jason Smith will be back. Typical for this season. I'm trying to remember when we have been 100% healthy this year.

And the worst part is, it's all really flukish stuff.

Tyreke steps on another players foot ten minutes into the first preseason game and misses the rest of camp and the preseason (about three weeks).  He finally regains form then steps on another players foot during a game, comes back the next game and two games after that steps on another players foot and misses the next few games.

Ryan Anderson kicks a chair during practice and breaks his toe the day before the season opener and misses the first nine games.  Now a few nights ago Gerald Wallace comes barreling into him for no reason and this happens.

Anthony Davis breaks his hand on the rim going for a dunk against the Knicks.  Eric Gordon takes a hard fall on a drive after being undercut by Nate Robinson and misses a few games.  Jason Smith goes out with a shoulder injury, returns three games later and reaggrivates it and has been out the last five games.

Do you just like Hinkie so much that your just oblivious to how unspecial Philly's future is?

Having Jabari Parker fall into their lap has nothing to do with what Hinkie has done so far.  That teams future isn't anything to be impressed by unless one of the top guys in this draft unexpectedly fall into their laps.  And if that happens I don't think that has anything to do with what Hinkie did, just like Anthony Davis falling into our lap didn't have much to do with what Dell did.

And to put things into perspective, and I said this exact thing to Pelicans fans this morning who were wanting the team to tank to get in position for Wiggins, Parker, etc, Philly would have to lose somewhere around 73% of their remaining games 48 games to get in position to draft one of those guys.  Pels would have to lose around 80% of their remaining games.  Neither are those things are happening.

It would be luck
But of noel turns out to be a good player AND they get a top player to go alongside MCW(hinkie's pick) how can you not give him credit

Sure he would get credit, but he wouldn't deserve anymore credit than the average GM. He's not making unbelievable moves and building this team to become a power house. They'll just be another middle of the road Eastern Conference team.

You do realize how bad the East is right? Philly with Jabari right now and a healthy Nerlens would be top 5 in the East, no kidding. Then you have to assume a bunch of those players will grow. They've got a pretty good future.
