Pelicans select Gerald Green:

Green is a good addition to my team for several reasons. First, his ability to knock down open looks (43.1% on spot up threes) given the space that will be created by Steph Curry, Manu Ginobili, and Brook Lopez. When watching film I also liked his ability to knock down shots even when contested. He also has the ability to take advantage of that space in the paint, as he was an above average finisher at the rim (66%) and in the paint outside the restricted arc (53%) on drives.
