The defense isn't about just Delly. It's how they're playing defense as a whole, and the scheme. Considering how the Rockets were playing, it wouldn't have mattered.

You're right, Kevin McHale isn't, but JB Bickerstaff is, and he runs the defense. He simply didn't have the pieces. McHale would have had to give minutes to Nick Johnson in order for Bickerstaff to even have a chance, and Nick's too raw offensively to put out there, at this point. I think he'll get more minutes next season.
