Even though the Chargers trailed 28-7 late Thursday night, quarterback Philip Rivers was consistently seen making rage filled, dramatic faces on the field. All things considered, it's become very clear to us that Philip Rivers takes this shit seriously.

But that didn't stop Derek Anderson from calling in and confirming what we already knew.

"Oh, he takes this shit serious."

We told him that we weren't sure.

"That's fine."

We still--

"That's fine."

Are you su--

"That's fine."

But...

"That's fine."

OK.

"He's not laughing about anything. He takes this shit serious. Real serious. He puts his heart and soul into this shit every every single week."

All we're saying is...

"I'm just telling you right now what he does every single week. Every single week he puts his freakin' heart and soul into this. He studies his ass off. He doesn't go out there and laugh. It's not funny. It's not funny, nothing's funny to him. He doesn't want to go out there and get embarrassed on Thursday Night Football in front of everybody."

We tried to ask Derek a few more questions about Rivers but he abruptly said "I'm done" and hung up the phone.

Rivers has like 20 kids and all of their names start with the same letter and the family is hardcore christian. Phillip is basically building his own colony with his family. That's a funny satirical write about how big of a red ass he is on the field, but his real life is really something to behold.

I'm actually a huge Philip Rivers fan. I just couldn't pass up this idea.

I also love Rivers. Would trade Stafford for him in a second.

I don't think Tannehill has the prolific potential of Stafford, but he might develop into a much better decision maker.
