As the Cowboys face a big game against the New Orleans Saints this Sunday, players were keen to discuss how much they fear Drew Brees, along with other opposing quarterbacks. Surprisingly enough, the general consensus wasn't that Brees or Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady was the most feared opposing quarterback, but one Tony Romo. "He just has an innate ability to make big plays for his team when he needs to," said veteran safety Barry Church. "I mean, look at the teammates the guy finds in big situations. Guys like Darrelle Revis and London Fletcher. He just seems to know who to get the ball to in order for us to lose."

"I'll never know how he's able to play for so many teams during each season," said Orlando Scandrick. "He was fantastic for the Redskins two years ago, and then there was the year before that, when he suited up for the Giants and led them to a win. It's unbelievable how hard he is to defend."

Romo's shown a consistent ability to change jerseys throughout the years, and it's been particularly frustrating for key offensive players like Dez Bryant. "Whenever I catch a ball that Tony throws, I have to stop for a second and make sure I'm running toward the right end zone," Bryant said.
DeMarco Murray had a similar assessment, "I think I have a fumbling issue because every time I get a hand off from Tony, I'm not sure who gets the ball if I lose it, because I'm not sure who he's playing for."

The Cowboys are glad to have Romo when they almost lose to bad teams like the St. Louis Rams, but any time a big game approaches, they know Romo's going to change jerseys. "I don't know how all of these transactions work, or how Jerry continues to find ways to trade Tony at the end of the season, once the deadline has passed, but I'm really tired of having to play against him in week 17," said linebacker Bruce Carter. "Can't we just keep him for that final week, once, and see what happens?"

Dallas isn't the only city where players aren't looking forward to playing Romo. I recently caught up with the Broncos DeMarcus Ware, who said, "Tony is the only opposing quarterback I was never allowed to hit." Ware seethes at this admission, but continues, "Coach Phillips used to irritate the hell out of me when he'd tell me I couldn't crush Tony if I had the chance, but then coach Garrett did the same thing." The former Cowboy can only shake his head when asked about potentially facing Romo, as a Bronco. "I'm not sure if I'll get a sack on him. Not because I can't get to him, but because I'm not sure old instincts won't kick in and keep me from hitting him. Honestly, I'd rather just not play against him."

When asked who their second most feared opposing QB was, Cowboys players surprised us again when they immediately cited Kyle Orton, who was brilliant for the Eagles last season, particularly near the end of the game when he completed a pass to Brandon Boykin.

This is my attempt at an article similar to what The Onion puts out there. If people like it, I'm willing to write these, every now and then, just for some fun and to lighten things up, a bit.

You should probably indicate it's an Onion esque article in the title, rather than us thinking you're stupid lol
