Why do you want it gone? Because it's boring? So, increase it to a 40 yarder. Would that make it boring?

It is just pointless. It's made 99% of the time. Moving it back to 40 yards kills the two point conversion. Yea, you could keep two point conversions at the 2 yard line, but that just seems stupid to have two different markers, one for PATs, and one for two point tries

Fine, lose the 1 point.
 
But 3 point field goal needs to stay. 40 seconds left, team is down by 3 or less. I find it exciting when teams have to defend real well so the offense doesn't get into field goal range.
 
Sorry, but that's the excitement of field goals.

Abolishing field goals would force more aggressive play calling, which makes for a more exciting game.

Teams go into prevent 9 times out of 10 anyway

On second though, get rid of the extra point. 
 
Make it so that you get 6 points for a TD and you have to go for the 1 point by way of 2 point conversion currently.
 
Also, keep 3 point field goals. Make kicker's job a lot easier. They have too much on their plate already.

They're on the field for like 2 minutes of actual game time, and they're deciding a lot of the game. Just seems weird to have them. Only reason kicking is still in the game is because of tradition

I feel like there a ton  of circumstances where a team definitely needs a field goal though
